One Person in a Sea of Many Little People Who Are Not Aware of Me

After watching Synecdoche, New York once more, I was compelled to find the song that smokes the few romantic scenes with sultry piano consonance.

A perennial favorite of mine, Jon Brion has composed music for some amazing movies like Punch-Drunk Love, Magnolia, and Eternal Sunshine. In Synecdoche, his stripped-down piano chords add an additional layer of pathos to an already emotionally-charged film. His original composition, Little Person, sung by loungesinger voiced Deanne Storey, is exceptionally moving in or out of context. Oh, I suppose the same could be said for most of the movie…

  1. And… I’m officially worried about you.

  2. This movie and this song are very moving.
I’m not really a piano player but I’d like to get the pianot sheets of this song.
