Alright. I read the New Yorker article about hangovers. I hope you’re all happy.
It’s interesting that the article notes that some Jews do not process alcohol as well as other drinkers. What a bizarre gene mutation that I’m positive I possess. In fact, this would explain why even after an entire plate of ziti, I will be drunk off a half-glass of wine. It would also be in line with my debilitating hangovers. And maybe why I get so flushed when I drink.
But does it explain the drunken over-abundance of emotion? Yes. I say yes. Yes it does.
